Ron & Wendi Wed on Wilson Pond

Ron and Wendi were married surrounded by their children, friends, and family in the Keene State Camp on Wilson Pond. The couple had hoped for an outdoor ceremony but Mother Nature had other plans. The Doppler radar for the day filled everyone, (including myself) with doubt and uncertainty. Thankfully, the rains held out through cocktail hour. The last piece of chicken was removed from the charcoal grill and the sky let loose. The rains departed and a beautiful rainbow graced us in the parking lot. Dinner included assorted salads, baked beans, pulled pork and chicken served by Washington Street Catering. Both the caterers and the DJ had to hustle with the rain and did their best keeping things on track.

Dessert for the day was custom made cookies featuring a picture the groom had drawn of the "couple" for their wedding. I am simply amazed at the talent from Cookies by Courtney. She can do anything! At this point the pond was placid and the setting sun made perfect lighting for a few more evening shots of the newlyweds. The night wound down with some dancing and yard games around the pavilion.

To Ron and Wendi, I have never met a couple that smiled so much and with such ease. I hope those same bright smiles I captured will bring you happiness and fill your marriage every day. I met you both as a stranger but left feeling like a friend. Thank you so much for letting me be part of your day and making me feel so welcome!
